The partnership  consists of highly experienced people who run their own businesses but who collaborate on production and delivery of specialist courses. Support and back up to the highest standard is therefore available in the event of unforeseen problems. Details of two of the partners are shown below. Others include specialists in Dangerous Goods, HS codes and IPR/OPR, and VAT. The company is a Business Member of The Institute of Export.

Michael Strawson MIEx
  – Managing Director

Mike has over 40 years commercial experience in International Trade. He has created export departments for international companies, and run a small manufacturing company who exported over 90% of output. He has created and delivered training courses in UK and overseas. He is a JETS accredited Trainer. He is Co-author and editor of Tates Import Guide and co-editor of Tates Export Guide. He is International Trade Consultant to Lincolnshire Chamber of Commerce and Leeds, Bradford, York & North Yorkshire Chambers for whom he runs some training courses and provides a specialist International Health Check. He is a tmember of and trainer for the Institute of Export.


Sharon Porter
  – Trainer and Principle of Customs Training

Sharon was employed by H M Customs & Excise at Hull in the import and export freight procedures department. She designed and delivered courses on freight procedures to H M Customs & Excise staff. Since 1999 she has been running Customs Training and delivering courses to Chambers of Commerce and private companies. She nis also a trainer and assessor for ITAS NVQs.
